Video club

Do you want to relive the era when we used to go pick a film at the video club? Here is your chance! We offer a free DVD collection at the reception for a movie night. Each chalet is equipped with a DVD player, so you can experience the magical moment of physically choosing a movie again! Don’t worry, if you have teenagers, we also have Wi-Fi and the television has many series and movies too!

Fishing

You can fish from the dock with a fishing licence and your equipment. Our lake has several species of fish (which bite quickly!). Notably, perch and catfish can be found there!

Skating rink

When conditions allow, we maintain a skating rink so you can enjoy skating or shooting some pucks into the net! We do not lend equipment, so we invite you to bring your own skates and sticks!

Sliding hill

We don’t have the scale of the sliding hills of Saint-Jean-de-Matha, but on site, when weather conditions allow, you will find a sliding hill on the beach during the winter season. Sleds and toboggans are available for the giggles of young and old!

Discover the Lanaudière region

In autumn, the many century-old trees in particular rival one another with shimmering colours comparable to precious stones. Every hike into the forest lets us discover a new abundance of nature, whether it is one of the many bodies of water, such as Darwin Falls, immortalized by the legend of the Nipissing sorcerer and Princess Hiawatha;

In winter, the conifers steal the show, with a large, glittering white mantle settling on their needles. Our Lac des Pins then offers us a frozen mirror where skating is a delight. The beach then turns into a slide for young and old alike. A favourite spot for sports lovers, some will choose the trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or alpine skiing.

In spring, the flowers in our lush gardens begin to bloom. We take advantage of the last cold spells to cuddle up around the indoor fireplace.

In summer, vacationers come during the warm season to enjoy our 175-metre beach and our non-motorized watercraft such as pedal boats, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Many love to cast a line into the water to fish in the lake or to light outdoor fires under the stars.

The main street, Queen Street, offers a truly charming atmosphere with its restaurants, fruit and vegetable grocer, cheese shop and bakery. There are also several large grocery stores within a 15-minute radius.
