Press review

Since our beginnings, we have had the joy of seeing our little piece of paradise attract media attention. From radio columns to newspaper articles and television interviews, these reports highlight the very essence of Domaine Chalets des Pins: a place rooted in nature.

Thank you to the journalists and content creators who take the time to tell our story and share the unique experience our visitors enjoy.

Here is a glimpse of the kind words we have received!

Domaine Chalets des Pins offers an authentic and affordable getaway in Rawdon

By: André Demers

Seemingly from another era, the four chalets offer every comfort without making you feel as though you were in a city or suburban home.

Just nearby, a beach lines Lac des Pins. Starting May 1st, pedal boats, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards are made available to guests free of charge.

Rain or shine, families have everything they need to stay entertained. There is a playground with slides and swings as well as sand toys, a bean bag toss game and pétanque.

For Sabrina, it is important to offer a service with simplicity and everything at hand. ” I try to offer a personalized service, with little treats and thoughtful touches. I studied law to make a difference and now, I want to keep doing that, but in another way. I will bring my own colours, and one of my qualities is precisely welcoming people well. I must have been an innkeeper in a former life! “

This rental chalet business is fully booked for the long Easter weekend, but the real high season starts in a few weeks and available time slots are becoming scarce. We are already seeing a 30% increase in bookings compared to last summer.

Discover the Lanaudière region

In autumn, the many century-old trees in particular rival one another with shimmering colours comparable to precious stones. Every hike into the forest lets us discover a new abundance of nature, whether it is one of the many bodies of water, such as Darwin Falls, immortalized by the legend of the Nipissing sorcerer and Princess Hiawatha;

In winter, the conifers steal the show, with a large, glittering white mantle settling on their needles. Our Lac des Pins then offers us a frozen mirror where skating is a delight. The beach then turns into a slide for young and old alike. A favourite spot for sports lovers, some will choose the trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or alpine skiing.

In spring, the flowers in our lush gardens begin to bloom. We take advantage of the last cold spells to cuddle up around the indoor fireplace.

In summer, vacationers come during the warm season to enjoy our 175-metre beach and our non-motorized watercraft such as pedal boats, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. Many love to cast a line into the water to fish in the lake or to light outdoor fires under the stars.

The main street, Queen Street, offers a truly charming atmosphere with its restaurants, fruit and vegetable grocer, cheese shop and bakery. There are also several large grocery stores within a 15-minute radius.
