Can I arrive earlier or leave later? Of course, whenever possible! On request, and for a small fee, you can enjoy your stay even more.
Is self check-in possible? Absolutely! Each chalet is equipped with a numeric keypad. If you arrive in the middle of the night after an international flight, no worries: you will receive a detailed welcome guide and your access code as soon as you book.

Do you have an electric vehicle charging station? Yes, we offer free access to an electric vehicle charging station (and for electric bikes as well!)
Can we come by public transit or by bike? Yes, it is possible! You can put your bike for free on the line 125 bus, then pedal to the chalet. We even have a secure space to store and lock the bikes. Another option: take the 125 bus and complete the trip by taxi. We are currently in discussion with Bonjour Nature to make your travel even easier.
Location
How far are you? Domaine Chalets des Pins is located one hour from Montréal (via the 25 North), 20 minutes from Joliette and 1 h 30 from Trois-Rivières, without traffic of course. The road in autumn is magnificent with the trees in colour.
Do I need a 4×4? No! Access is really easy from an asphalt road and a gravel driveway of a few metres. A city dweller can easily reach the chalet in a Communauto!
Are you far from grocery stores? We are really close to several large supermarkets (IGA, Maxi, Provigo, Métro, SAQ) and fine grocers, all located within a 10-minute radius. For the gourmets, we are also ambassadors of the Goûtez Lanaudière baskets and we are happy to recommend visits to local producers. Our local convenience store (le Marchand du coin) about 5 minutes away is even an SAQ retailer and offers several frozen meats from a local butcher.

Leisure and activities
What kind of activities can we do on site? We invite you to see the dedicated activities page. There are so many, where to start! We obviously have the fine sand beach, where you find free non-motorized water activities for adults and children. Swimming in the lake is most enjoyable. A park with a punching ball, swing, slide, lollipop. There are many sand toys available for the children as well as a petanque set, washer and belotte (corn hole). We have Adirondack chairs and loungers to relax in the sun and read a good book. We have a hammock for afternoon naps. We have an outdoor fire area for evenings under the stars. In winter we put sleds on the beach for sliding! When the temperature allows, an ice rink is set up on the lake. Otherwise, we have a partnership with Forêt Ô Cascades so that you benefit from a discount on their forest ice rink. We also have a collection of DVDs and board games at your disposal at the reception for rainy days! Finally, with our yurt, we have a most diversified wellness programming! There are also walking trails nearby.
What kind of activities can we do nearby? Skiing, hiking in the forest, golf, thermal experience at the spa, parachuting and climbing, karting, gourmet tourist circuits and much more. Tourisme Lanaudière lists several activities in the area and we invite you to visit our dedicated page for packages with our partners.
Do you have board games? Yes, a true games library! You will find at the reception a wide variety of board games for young and old, available for free.
Is there a spa on site? Not on site, but only 11 minutes from here is Spa La Source, considered one of the most beautiful spas in Québec. Our guests benefit from a privileged rate.
Can we fish? When you have a fishing licence and the season allows, yes! We are not an outfitter and the lake is not stocked, but the children have fun making the fish bite and releasing them. It makes for beautiful memories! We do not have a rowboat; people fish from the end of the dock.
